In 1966, seven young musicians from Leicester - Kay Garrett (female vocals), Kip Trevor (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Jess "Zoot" Taylor (keyboards), Jim Gannon (guitar, vocals), Clive Jones (saxophone, flute) , Bob Bond (bass) and Clive Box (drums) - formed the soul group “Pesky Gee!”. The band performing the so-called “blue-eyed soul” existed for three years, having released only one album during this time. In 1970, the team (without Kay Garrett) was renamed “Black Widow”, at the same time radically changing their musical guidelines.
