This is a nonsteam (extracted) version of Portal. It is a clean rip that doesn't require the Steam Client in order to start the game.

In addition, as many unnecessary files were removed as possible. The original Steam version includes several shared GCF archives that contain files used by multiple Steam games. Thus, once all the necessary GCF files are extracted, there are unused files included with the game. These files were removed to the best of my ability.

- Does NOT suffer from White Screen Issue
- Steam account (cd-key) not required
- All needed textures, models, AI scripts, etc. included
- Standalone
- Unnecessary files removed
- 1.35 GB after installation


Notes:

1) The White Screen Issue that plagued my release of Half-Life 2: Episode Two as
well as the DigitalZone release of Portal is not present in this release. This
release includes all of the shader files, as will all future releases of mine.

2) Achievements are not supported in this release "out of the box". In order to
enable them you must copy a few files over from the Revolution Emulator.
