This group was formed by three sisters: Toni Wille (born June 26, 1953), Betty Dragstra (born June 23, 1952) and Marianne Veldpaus (born May 16, 1951). ) in the Dutch city of Limburg. The sisters' father died three days before Tony's birth, and their father was replaced by a Polish miner named Kowalczyk, who immigrated to Holland, whom the sisters' mother married five years after Tony's birth. In those years, their family lived in the city of Brunssum, and from the age of six the sisters began to learn to play the guitar, and from the mid-60s they performed at local holidays and carnivals. Their first group was called "Singing Sisters" ("Singing Sisters"), whose repertoire included famous German songs, as well as compositions of "The Beatles" that thundered in those years. Even then, a historic meeting takes place for them - they get acquainted with Werner Theunissen, who in those years worked as an assistant truck driver. Looking ahead, let's say that subsequently Werner will become the author of the entire repertoire of the group "Pussycat". And in those years, he sometimes performed with a group of sisters and continued to teach them the craft of playing the guitar, which he masterfully owned.
