The formation of RED 7 in late 2012 was the product of three grown men going through an early mid-life crisis.
Instead of the usual remedy of taking a mistress and buying a Harley, Brent decided to end his musical hiatus and start the search for new collaborators. After an endless line of "dudes that just wanted to hang out and jam to the same old metal classics" Brent started to lose hope...until his classified ad was answered by brothers, Dan and Matt.
The brothers were looking for something more exciting than their "Nickleback does Kraftwerk" cover project (it was not doing as well as expected). Within a week the three of them were jamming and writing songs on a regular basis and decided it was time to be a serious band
