El cantante Ric Ocasek es conocido por haber sido el líder del grupo The Cars,
que se formó en 1976 y disfrutó de multitud de éxitos con álbumes y singles en el Top 40,
incluyendo su álbum de debut, "Shake It Up", en 1981. Ocasek también llevó a cabo una carrera
como solista, editando su álbum de debut "Beatitude" en 1982. Su siguiente trabajo
fue "This Side Of Paradise", en 1986; este disco incluía el hit single "Emotion In Motion".
The Cars se separaron en 1987 y Ocasek hizo una pausa hasta 1990. En 2005, editó "Nexterday".
