Did i say comic books? Silly me! Skywald of course, was a publisher of MAGAZINES and therefore NOT a subject to the Comics Code dominating at the time! In other words, they took some liberties with their comics and stories.

The artwork is often great, and even though the stories not always were interesting, the issues are always interesting to skim through.

Mainstays included Lady Satan, The Heapadaptations of classic stories, and spotlights on movies. And then there was the series Victims, one of the great oddities of the 70's that remained unfinished until Headpress decided to collect it as Saga of The Victims.

Two attractive young girls are kidnapped and relentlessly tormented by scalding water, sandstorms and dead Nazi storm troopers - that's just in one episode...
