In the year 2000, high school friends Steven Stern and Stuart Hart were talking about how Steven, who had been living in LA since 1991, had been composing music for all kinds of films and TV shows, and how nice it was to make a career out of something that you're passionate about. Stuart, who was making a living using his accounting degree in the mortgage world, was tired of it and wanted to put his musical skills to use to follow a similar course. With Steven's experience and Stuart's business savvy, aesthetics and drive, Selectracks was born.

With over 150 CD titles of high-end production music, the catalog is growing by the day. The main catalog is currently 115 CDs, and we have many other catalogs ranging from highly polished songs to authentic vintage tracks.
