Yorito est un jeune étudiant passionné par le ciel. Alors que sa sœur Aono en raison de sa maladie, reste cloîtrée dans sa chambre d’hôpital sous les regards bienveillant de Mina (une amie de Yorito) et de sa sœur, celui-ci passe le plus clair de son temps à photographier l’horizon. 
C’est ainsi que pendant une de ses sorties nocturnes, alors qu’il se préparait à capturer avec son appareil photo l’aube, il fait la rencontre de Matsuri. Cette mystérieuse jeune fille malgré son large sourire cache un lourd secret et semble pourchassée par un individu accompagné d’une enfant.
