Something anybody can't deny about Spandau Ballet: each album is very different from the other also if according to me all the seeds they were in the first album.

So this third album is a sort of sophisticated sound more close to Roxy Music and take all the distance from Ultravox and Midge Ure ( Duran Duran were always different, like Rolling Stones and Beatles) Here seems that David Bowie met Marving Gaye and Bryan Ferry but the sounds are really Spandau Ballet.

We are at the levels of the debut album if not higher. The guitar is simply crystalline as all the other sounds.

Code of love, Heaven is a secret and Foundation the only 3 tracks not pubblished as singles are still matching as all the the other 5 (Pleasure, Communication, Gold, Lifeline, True) It's a perfect cohesive album.

A joy for the ears.
