Book 1 - A Hard Call

Zane Holden hasn’t had the easiest go of things. His childhood was rough and adulthood hasn’t been a walk in the park either. The only good thing in his life would be Stonewall Investigations, an investigative company he found to work primarily with the LGBTQ community. Things were ok and Zane was finally healing from a personal tragedy but the reemergence of a serial killer turns his world upside down.

Lorenzo De Luca is a cocky defense attorney dripping in Italian charm. He’s well known as one of the best lawyers in New York City, a title he worked hard to achieve. When he picks up a difficult case, he finds that he needs extra help. This leads him to Stonewall, where he meets Zane for the first time and instantly feels himself falling for the mysterious and stone-cut detective.

The two men have their own hangups to work through, but both men are having a hard time denying the connection between them, even though they’re trying.

When fate insists on pushing them together, Zane and Enzo give in and start exploring their feelings. They’ll need to balance their budding relationship with the stress of Enzo’s case, which takes them both on a twisting journey toward the truth, all while a bigger threat looms on the horizon.

Book 2 - A Lethal Love

Alejandro Santos is a sharp as nails detective who’s been struck with a spell of boring cases. He’s left unstimulated and unhappy. That is until Griffin walks in through the doors of Stonewall Investigations and suddenly everything changes.

Book 3 - A Tangled Truth

Liam Wolfe isn’t having the best of days. He’s being falsely accused of things he’d never even think of doing and is now facing the loss of his career because of it. He has an idea of who’s behind the attempt at assassinating his character but can’t put the pieces together by himself.

Mark Masters isn’t having any better of a time. He’s sitting in his office at Stonewall Investigations, getting work done, when his boyfriend of a year walks in with the sole goal of breaking up with him. He’s blindsided by the development and thinks not much else can surprise him.

He was very wrong.

Moments after the breakup, Liam walks into Mark’s office looking for help and a connection that had been lost for years suddenly reignites. As childhood best friends, Mark and Liam were inseparable. As adults, they’ll come to learn not much has changed.

With a second chance on the horizon, Mark and Liam explore something that fear had cut them off from as kids. They’ll do it while working together to unravel the truth behind Liam’s case, risking everything they’ve regained in the process.

Book 3.5 - Deck the Halls

Andrew Barker is ready for the holidays. His perpetually bright and cheery personality feels right at home for Christmas. He has time off from work and a husband who’s waiting for him at home, what else would he need?

Well, he had no idea he would be needing to sign divorce papers - let’s start there.

Declan Rose-Covington, part of a luxury hotel dynasty, is coming into Stonewall Investigations because he needs help with a family issue. With his mom’s huge holiday retreat around the corner, he’s hoping to solve it before Santa comes to town. The last thing he’s expecting is to enter the detective agency and fall for the strikingly handsome man sitting behind the front desk.

Of course, life has ways of delivering well-wrapped surprises.

When Declan and Andrew meet they both feel an instant connection. Soon, the connection grows powerful enough to push Declan toward a crazy proposition: invite Andrew to the family retreat as a fake boyfriend. Andrew would get a nice week-long vacation out of it and Declan would avoid the judgemental jabs from all the spoused-up family members.

The potential for disaster was there, but there was also a chance to truly make this the most wonderful time of the year. And that was something neither of them wanted to miss out on.

Book 4 - A Lover’s Game

Zane Holden, the founder of Stonewall Investigations, has been haunted by the same case for years. He’s had loved ones taken by the serial killer known as the Unicorn, and his drive to find the monster is higher than ever. Finally, he feels like he’s getting close.

Something else that’s getting closer? His wedding day to the man of his dreams.

Lorenzo De Luca found the love of his life in Zane. He’s the happiest he’s ever been. His career as a high powered defense attorney is at a peak and his daydreams are filled with wedding bells and honeymooning.

It felt like absolutely nothing could go wrong.

But with the tensions from the case rising and a new presence in Enzo’s life making themselves known, there’s suddenly a lot that could go wrong. Zane and Enzo will have to tread carefully on their way to a blissful union. As Zane pushes closer to the Unicorn, the danger increases exponentially, until both men are faced with an excruciating reality: this all has to end one way or another.

The two men will need to come together and find strength in their love before they get torn apart by their fear.

A Lover’s Game is the fourth book in the Stonewall Investigations series. It can be read as a standalone although it is recommended to at least read book 1 in the series. It is a full-length, steamy gay romantic mystery novel.
