This work was produced by Shinichiro Watanabe as he was invited to make a short animation for the movie Blade Runner 2049, and the plot of the animation was set to be in the year of 2022, which is three years after the prequel. I happened to know that a friend of mine holds a copy of the Japanese Blu-ray, and so I 'bugged' him to release the series. As for post-processing, we mainly dealt with aliasing in the image and other artifacts due to the lack of bit-rates such as colour-banding and blocking. We hope that you can better enjoy this fascinating work with the artifacts fixed.
