L'AFC Richmond fait face aux railleries des médias, qui voient le club comme le bon dernier de la Premier League. Désormais considéré comme un enfant prodige, Nate travaille pour Rupert, au West Ham United. À la suite du départ controversé de Nate de l'AFC Richmond, Roy Kent devient entraîneur adjoint, aux côtés de Beard. De son côté, Ted doit composer avec la pression au travail et ses problèmes personnels. Rebecca ne pense qu'à prendre sa revanche sur Rupert, tandis que Keeley trouve ses marques en tant que directrice de sa propre agence de communication. Sur ou en dehors du terrain, les choses ne tournent pas rond. Mais l'équipe Lasso est bien déterminée à donner le meilleur d'elle-même.
