The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel gaat over een groep Britse gepensioneerden die hun oude dag willen doorbrengen in het exotische en goedkope India. Ze laten zich verleiden door de flitsende en gelikte advertentie van het gerestaureerde Marigold Hotel. Maar eenmaal daar, blijkt het voormalige paleis een stuk minder luxe te zijn.
Storyline
A group of British retirees decide to "outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self.
