The Count of Monte Cristo - Six-hour French Mini-Series (subbed)

This is what I would consider the definitive adaptation of Alexandre Dumas's epic The Count of Monte Cristo. I tried to find a copy of this one various sites and could not find it. So I decided to make my own DVD-RIp.

This is a six-hour french miniseries that first aired in 1998 and stars Gérard Depardieu as The Count snd the six-hour plus running time provides ample time to do the book justice.
