Martin Gilens and Benjamin Page are professors of politics with shared interests in public policy, public opinion and mass media. Together they are the authors of the study "Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups , and Average Citizens" (2014). Gilens is a professor of politics at Princeton University and the author of "Affluence & Influence: Economic Inequality and Political Power in America" (2012). Page is the Gordon S. Fulcher Professor of Decision Making at Northwestern University. He has written more than ten books, including "Living with the Dragon: How the American Public Views the Rise of China" (2010), which was co-written with Tao Xie.
