Поль Гюстав Дорé (фр. Paul Gustave Doré; 6 января 1832, Страсбург — 23 января 1883, Париж) — французский гравёр, иллюстратор и живописец.

За 35 лет работы Доре создал сотни тысяч ставших классическими иллюстраций ко мн. произведениям мировой лит-ры. Работы Доре отличались необузданной, порой сумрачной фантазией и драматизацией композиции. В 1864—66 вышла двухтомная Библия, включающая 240 гравюр Доре. Это издание пользовалось огромной популярностью во всех европ. странах. В Англии Доре называли "художником-проповедником". В России Библия с гравюрами Доре выходила неск. раз (в виде трех фолиантов и в виде однотомника). Его иллюстрации часто помещались в религ.-просветит. изданиях, с них делались копии на стенах церквей. После смерти Доре мода на него в Европе угасла, и заново его оценили лишь в 20 в. Один из опросов показал, что и сегодня мн. люди связывают библ. образы с работами Доре. Художник также написал ряд полотен на темы Свящ. Писания ("Медный змей", "Избиение младенцев", "Изгнание торгующих из Храма", "Се Человек", "Сон жены Пилата", "Снятие со креста").
