Synopsis :
Huo Yan vient de devenir vice-capitaine de la brigade des pompiers, rejoignant son amie l'instructrice Jiang Tong. Il rencontre alors Yan Lan, médecin travaillant au département des urgences. Alors qu'il est sévère et froid, elle est enjouée et optimiste ; malgré leurs différences, ils tombent amoureux. Quand à Jiang Tong, elle se lie d'amitié avec Wang Da Yin, une nouvelle recrue d'apparence introvertie et timide.

Les deux couples travaillant dans des métiers très différents et pourtant très liés font chacun face à leurs épreuves. Quand le covid frappe le monde, Yan Lan étant médecin se retrouve plongée dedans, ce qui inquiète Huo Yan. Quant à Jiang Tong, elle doit persister pour réussir à conquérir Da Yin qui cache beaucoup de secrets.
