This CD combines the Lost Gonzo Band's first self-titled first album (minus two tracks) from 1975 and the complete second album 'Thrills' from 1976. The group from Texas is known for backing Jerry Jeff Walker on several albums as well as Ray Wylie Hubbard. Walker would often record songs from their members and main songwriters Gary P. Nunn (who sings lead on the classic "London Homesick Blues" on Walker's 'Viva Terlingua'), Robert Livingston and John Inmon. Nunn's "The Last Thing I Needed" would become a big Willie Nelson hit in the 80s and the original version is included here
