American blues band based in Washington, D.C. The Nighthawks are amazing hard workers who spend many months and years on the road with the leader, founder, harpist Mark Wenner, who in 1972 created this gang with the then very young Jimmy Thackery. They were joined by the best rhythm section in the area, Jan Zukowski (bass) and Pete Ragusa (drums).
