"Rotten Apples" est un album de compilation de hits du groupe de rock alternatif « The Smashing Pumpkins », publié en 2001 avec un disque
bonus intitulé « Judas O ». Ce groupe, originaire de Chicago, s’est formé en 1987. Seul le chanteur-guitariste et leader charismatique du groupe,
Billy Corgan, a participé à tous les albums. Le style du groupe mélange diverses influences musicales incluant rock gothique, heavy metal, grunge,
dream pop, rock psychédélique et rock progressif, autour de la voix nasillarde de Billy Corgan. Le 2ème CD, « Judas O » est une collection de
faces B et de raretés des Smashing Pumpkins. Les chansons sont en grande partie tirées des sessions d'enregistrement de Mellon Collie et de Trinity infinie,
Adore et Machina / The Machines of God.
