The Syn was formed in 1965 in London. Its two main members were vocalist/songwriter Steve Nardelli and bassist Chris Squire. The rest of the musicians changed frequently. At the beginning of its existence, the group performed cover versions of rhythm and blues songs, and then began to record their own songs, releasing a couple of singles. However, in 1967 the team broke up. Chris Squire became a member of the legendary prog-rock band Yes. You can read about the history of the group here.
