Though TC:E is based on the ET engine, it has higher minimum system requirements:

# PC with 800 megahertz (MHhz) or higher processor recommended
# or Mac with 800 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor recommended
# 320 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended
# 750 megabytes (MB) of hard disk space
# Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter with at least 128 megabytes (MB) of video RAM and a monitor
# Keyboard and Mouse or compatible pointing device

Recommended system requirements:

# PC with 1.6 gigahertz (GHhz) or higher processor recommended
# or Mac with 1.5 gigahertz (GHz) or higher processor recommended
# 1 gigabyte (GB) of RAM or higher recommended
