You should have a basic understanding of your DAW (we use FL Studio in this course)
You should understand what is a drum loop, and a basic understanding of how to count beats in time with the rhythm of the song (1, 2, 3, 4)
You DO NOT need your own sounds, as we use the built-in stock sounds in FL Studio. (Later-on we make a rap drum loop with third-party sounds to show the difference between stock sounds vs. third-party sound packs.)
