When THE FUZZTONES began in 1980, their sets were comprised almost entirely of long-forgotten 60s garage tracks so obscure that 69% of the audience thought they were originals. Since that time the band has evolved into the legends they are today, with a repertoire of highly-inflammable original material that spans several albums, and defines the band as the premier Garage band.
In this collection you'll find the most complete summary of what are now referred to as Fuzztones classics, but by the artists who initially recorded them. RUDI PROTRUDI, the man himself, was always very particular about the choice of songs he chose to cover. The songs had to speak to him, and for him - he had to identify with the song and the message. Motivation was key. Women, drugs, or sex weren’t enough. He hungered for further extremities. Thanks you Rudi for your turning back the hands of time, and opening up a world few of us knew even existed.
