The source quality of Season 1 is average, which is upscaled by a very poor algorithm. It results in not only blurred image but also lines with aliasing. The source has very heavy noise, which is also partially crushed in the dark area, and there is a serious problem of color banding under the noise coverage. Our processing method is descaling and reconstruction, and then applying a more intense de-banding. Meanwhile, a tailored grain processing procedure was formulated, which achieved a good balance between picture style preservation and bitrate saving.

The source quality of the movie is also poor, and the production is generally the same as Season 1. But the noise is crushed more, and the problem of color banding is more serious. We have incresed the intensity of de-banding and reduced the intensity of denoising, so that the crushed parts will be covered with heavy noise to ensure watching experience.
