• 100% Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation

• NOTHING ripped, NOTHING re-encoded

• Selective Download feature: you may skip downloading and installing of English or Japanese localizations (VO+Videos) or download lossy videos instead of original ones

• ATTENTION! Due to technical difficulties, re-encoded videos miss subtitles, so if it’s a problem for you – download original videos

• Significantly smaller archive size (compressed from 35.2 to 11.6~28.6 GB, depending on selected components)

• Installation takes 30~120 minutes (depending on your system and selected components – lossless installation takes much more time)

• After-install integrity check so you could make sure that everything installed properly

• HDD space after installation: up to 39 GB

This collection includes all 3 original .hack//G.U. titles, Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption, all fully restored and remastered. As well as an all new exclusive 4th Volume: .hack//G.U. Reconnection.

I don’t like lossy compression, but this game mostly consists of movies (1280×720@30 FPS max, developers lie about 1080p@60 FPS), and they could be recompressed

That’s why I made an option for you to download much smaller archive with re-encoded videos.

They still look pretty good at reduced bitrate. You can download this sample and compare:

By default the game launches in a very small window, without controls mapped and with volume dropped to zero. To set up controls, video and audio, go to: Terminal disc > System > Steam menu

Temporary controls for navigation are the following: arrow keys = menu movement; left mouse button = A, right mouse button = B
